        ประวัติของญี่ปุ่น

ญี่ปุ่นนั้นถือกำเนิดใน 10,000 -300 ปี ก่อนคริสตกาล อยู่ในรัชสมัยโจมอน (Jomon) ช่วง 300 ปี ก่อนคริสตกาล-ค.ศ. 600 เป็นรัชสมัยโคฟุน (Kofun) ช่วงค.ศ.600-ค.ศ.710 เป็นรัชสมัยของอาซึกะ (Asuka) ช่วงค.ศ..710-ค.ศ.794 เป็นรัชสมัยนารา (Nara) ช่วง ค.ศ.794-ค.ศ.1185 เป็นช่วงของรัชสมัยเฮอัน (Heian) ช่วงค.ศ.1185-1333 เป็นรัชสมัยของคามาคุระ(Kamakura) ช่วงค.ศ.1333-ค.ศ1336 เป็นช่วงรัฐสมัยของเคมมุ (Kemmu) ช่วงค.ศ. 1336-1573 เป็นรัชสมัยของมุโรมาจิ(Muromachi) ซึ่งท่านโชกุนอาชิคางะ โยชิมัตสึ และอึ๊กคิวซัง เณรน้อยเจ้าปัญญาก็มีชีวิตอยู่ในสมัยนี้นั่นเอง ช่วงค.ศ.1573-1600 เป็นช่วงรัชสมัยของอาซุชิ-โมโมยามา (Azuchi-Momoyama) ช่วงค.ศ.1600-1867 เป็นช่วงรัชสมัยของโตกูกาว่า (Tokugawa) ต่อมาค.ศ.1868-1912 เป็นรัชสมัยของเมจิ (Meiji) โดยจักรพรรดิมัตซึฮิโต ช่วงค.ศ.1912-1926 เป็นช่วงรัชสมัยไทโช (Taisho) โดยจักรพรรดิโยชิฮิโตะ ช่วงค.ศ. 1926-1989 เป็นรัชสมัยโชวะ (Showa) โดยจักรพรรดิฮิโรฮิโตะ และจากค.ศ.1989 จนถึงปัจจุบันเป็นรัชสมัยเฮเซ (Heisei) โดยจักรพรรดิอากิฮิโต ประเทศญี่ปุ่น (นิฮง, แปลว่า "ถิ่นกำเนิดของดวงอาทิตย์") เป็นประเทศในเอเชียตะวันออก ตั้งอยู่ระหว่างมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิก และทางตะวันออกของคาบสมุทรเกาหลี ชื่อในภาษาญี่ปุ่นที่มักจะแปลว่า "ดินแดนอาทิตย์อุทัย (The Land of the Rising Sun)" มาจากประเทศจีน โดยอ้างถึงที่ตั้งของประเทศญี่ปุ่น คือ ตั้งไปทางทิศตะวันออก เมื่อเทียบกับทวีปเอเชีย ก่อนหน้าที่ญี่ปุ่นจะมีความสัมพันธ์กับจีน ก็ได้เรียกตัวเองว่า ยะมะโตะ ส่วน วา เป็นชื่อที่ชาวจีนยุคแรกใช้เรียกญี่ปุ่นในช่วงยุคสามก๊ก ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ประกอบ ด้วยเกาะเป็นจำนวนมาก มีเกาะใหญ่ๆจากทางใต้ไปทางเหนือคือ เกาะคิวชู , เกาะชิโกกุ, เกาะฮอนชู ( เป็นเกาะที่ใหญ่ที่สุด), และ เกาะฮอกไกโด
